ER Collet: Elastic Tool Clamping with Wide Range and Quick Change

Allowing for achievement of interferences for Swiss type CNC lathes, the 5C collet sets increase the precision of low-runout clamping to 0.002mm for internal housing applications of other shafts, tubes and bores under small diameter tools ranging from 0.1mm to 32mm. Hardened construction firmed at 60 HRC gives the 5C taper (1:20) collets an additional benefit with a drawbar mechanism for tightening, enabling high torque without slippage. These features support high-speed machining for up to 50,000rpm while being compatible with automatic bar feeders for mass production aiding in tuning device and electronics manufacturing.
